A few years ago, 3D printers were all the rage and now they are everywhere and changing the way small components, prototypes and even spare parts are designed and manufactured. This year, although AI is probably the leading innovation trend, another new product is emerging and creating a fair amount of excitement.

Today, eufyMake reveals that it has officially set a record on Kickstarter. The sub-brand from Anker Innovation says it has launched “the world’s first personal 3D-texture UV printer.”

Originally announced on April 29, 2025, the Kickstarter campaign for the new printer surpassed the initial $10 million target in just 14 hours. The amount raised now stands at more than $44 million. Kickstarter says it is the highest-funded project in the platform’s history, surpassing the previous record of $41.7 million.

“This record-breaking Kickstarter campaign for the eufyMake E1 is a powerful example of what happens when creators and community come together,” says Everette Taylor, CEO of Kickstarter. “When our Kickstarter community gets excited about a project, they really show up. Their willingness to support new innovations before they ever hit the shelves is what makes our community so special.”

Frank Zhu is senior vice president at Anker Innovations. He said, “We’re incredibly grateful for the overwhelming support from our backers. Our mission has always been to make innovative technology more accessible, and this response shows just how powerful that idea can be.”

The eufyMake E1 is the first consumer-grade UV printer that’s capable of printing 3D textures up to a thickness of 5mm. This breaks traditional barriers of cost, complexity and size. The E1 is designed for creators and entrepreneurs and is 90% smaller than conventional UV printers. eufyMake claims its new printer is powerful enough to deliver ultra-high-resolution, full-color prints on a wide range of materials, including metal, wood and acrylic.

As well as being a creative tool, the E1 can be used to personalize everyday items or for side ventures. With its one-stop AI-powered workflow and library of 20,000 templates, the printer’s modular design makes advanced printing accessible to homes, studios, and small businesses.

The E1 has advanced 3D texture printing on a vast variety of surfaces, including flat materials, cylinders, cones and mugs. There is support for full-color printing at 1,440 dpi, while attachments for flatbed, rotary and roll-to-film printing make it possible to print on small items as well as large-format media. Thanks to its AI workflow, the E1 automatically positions the device to be printed by using a dual laser and camera system. Users of the E1 will be able to access a growing library of shared designs and resources.

The eufyMake E1 Kickstarter campaign closes on June 28, 2025. There is a time-limited offering to backers who will receive gifts valued at $527, which are unlocked through the campaign’s Stretch Goals.
