Apple iPhone 15 Pro Max Price Slashed By $726 In Labor Day Sale
You may be thinking of a new iPhone 17 when it’s launched next month — full details of the release schedule here — but you may also have heard that some prices are going up. The Labor Day sale at Amazon sees refurbished prices that are up to $726 less than you’d have paid for a new handset this time last year (that’s for the iPhone 15 Pro Max with 1TB of storage).

The iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max are both capable of running Apple Intelligence.
You can’t buy the iPhone 15 Pro or Pro Max from Apple: the company has a policy that only the regular iPhone is carried over into the next year’s range, not the Pro models. So, a refurbished model is what you’ll need.
Renewed Premium is the name for the top tier of refurbished models on Amazon and the quality is strictly managed.
In August 2024, the iPhone 15 Pro Max was the latest model and the 256GB storage model sold for $1,199. Right now, you can snap it up at Amazon for $779. It’s unlocked, that is, it’s not tied to any carrier.
That’s $420 less than the original price new, and 5% off Amazon’s average renewed premium price of $823.91.
That’s the price for the blue titanium or natural titanium colors. Black titanium costs $789 and white titanium is $799.
Step up to 512GB storage and the discount compared to the original new price ($1,399) is much steeper. You can buy the blue titanium finish, unlocked, for $829, which is $570 less than the new price and 7% less than Amazon’s typical renewed premium price. All other colors are also available, but for $10 more: $839.
Finally, the top storage level has the biggest discounts. The iPhone 15 Pro Max with 1TB of storage originally cost $1,599 new. It’s now available, unlocked, in renewed premium condition for $872.42 in black titanium, which is $726.58 less, and 13% off Amazon’s renewed premium list price of $999. You can also find it in the other three colors for a little more: $879.
