Wondering what gossip is dished? Not sure what might be prompted to make funny images online? Don’t worry, because I’m here to help you with extra hints and the answers for today’s NYT Mini crossword.

The NYT Mini is a quick version of the newspaper’s larger, long-running crossword. Most days, there are between three and five clues in each direction on a five by five Mini grid, but the puzzles are sometimes larger, especially on Saturdays.

Unfortunately, the New York Times has now made the Mini available only to subscribers. It was previously free to play. You’ll also need an NYT Games subscription to access previous puzzles in the archives.

It took me 0:53 to complete today’s NYT Mini.

I’m annoyed I didn’t get GEN AI right away, since I often have to write about that stuff. I missed AVID and DIRT on my first pass of the Across words too. DELVE, INDIA, TIE and GOAT helped me fill in the blanks.
