Adobe has announced that its Adobe Premiere video editing software will soon be available for iPhone. Content creators producing films, music and videos will have access to a fast, free and intuitive app offering pro-level creative control without the pro-level complexity.
Whether a user is creating video for social channels, producing content for clients or capturing everyday moments, the new Premiere app will provide the same sort of tools that are already relied on by millions of content creators around the world.
Premiere on iPhone, says Adobe, will be offering the same creative power that filmmakers, designers, animators and YouTube creators already have on their desktops and laptops for producing commercials, music videos, films and viral content.
The Adobe Premiere On iPhone app will offer access to millions of free Adobe Stock assets such as music, sound effects, photos, graphics and videos, as well as Adobe Fonts and Lightroom presets.

No Watermarks Or Distractions
Adobe’s Mike Polner, VP product marketing creators, describes Premiere on the iPhone as “intuitive and uncluttered without watermarks or distractions.” He adds that the new app will “provide the power and control to create polished, professional-looking videos.”
Those who are already familiar with Adobe’s Premiere desktop software will recognize the same multi-track timeline with vibrant colors and dynamic audio waveforms. The app can be used to trim, layer and fine-tune video with frame-accurate precision.
The app will also furnish automatic captions with stylized subtitles, unlimited video, audio and text layers, plus there is support for 4K HDR and more.
Mobile Recording Studio
Great audio has always been central to producing great video, so Adobe says the Premiere iPhone app will make producing audio easier than ever. With Generative Sound Effects, users can use a text prompt and their own voice to nail exact timing, emotion and the inflection they need. There will be AI-powered Enhanced Speech for recording crisp and clear voice-overs, even if recorded in a noisy environment.

With Adobe Firefly built in, Premiere can also offer access to video, image and audio assets. Just describe the image, visual or sound required and content will be generated that’s safe for commercial use and respects creators’ rights. Users will also have access to millions of free Adobe Stock assets such as music, sound effects, photos, graphics and videos, as well as Adobe Fonts and Lightroom presets.
The Premiere iPhone app will provide the flexibility to create on the move and then finish off on a desktop. Users can begin projects on their iPhone and then export instantly to TikTok, YouTube Shorts or Instagram with one tap. Alternatively, they can send projects to Premiere Pro for precision editing.
The Premiere app on iPhone also supports one-tap exports to every major social platform, from TikTok and YouTube Shorts and Instagram. It can automatically resize videos for each platform, ensuring the action stays in the frame.
