A charging innovation from a team made up of energy sector veterans has been launched by AMPSOS on Kickstarter and offers a compact, all-in-one, portable charging solution designed the travelers and anyone who ever goes “off grid.”

The new power bank has a 25,000mAh battery certified as flight-safe and compliant with TSA/IATA regulations for carry-on air travel. The 170W power bank includes three 100W bi-directional fast-charging ports. All three ports can deliver or receive up to 100W of power. There’s no need to check the type of port before use because all three support full-speed charging and recharging.

Designed for laptops, tablets, smartphones and other high-draw devices, this new power bank has two fast-charging USB-C cables, so there’s no need to pack any cables if you’re traveling. The cables have a tough outer casing made from a woven and hemp-like material that resists dust and doubles as a carrying strap.

The power bank’s status is shown on a smart OLED, which also displays temperature details and real-time data for battery percentage, input/output wattage and internal temperature.

Devices being charged can get warm and even hot, so the AMPSOS power bank features intelligent thermal control that will slow down the charging rate if things start getting a bit toasty due to overheating. The charging rate will resume normally once the temperature stabilizes, ensuring the longevity and reliability of any devices that are being charged.

The 36W solar panel that comes with the AMPSOS PB02 can be used to recharge the PB02’s battery as well as other devices.

Possibly the stand-out feature of this power bank is its integrated Maximum Power Point Tracking system, which is designed to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of its solar charging panel.
