Baseus Unveils The World’s First Fast-Charging Power Bank With 4G Wi-Fi Hotspot Built In

Baseus has unveiled one of the most unusual tech gadgets I’ve seen this year. The EnerGeek GX11 4G MiFi Power Bank is a 20,000mAh power bank offering an output of 67W, combined with a 4G Wi-Fi hotspot.

Most people know how handy a power bank can be for charging or powering laptops, smartphones and other tech gadgets when there’s no mains electricity available. However, what makes the EnerGeek GX11 unique is how it doubles as a Wi-Fi hotspot thanks to an integral 4G cellular modem that works in almost any country on the planet.

Recognized with both a CES Innovation Award 2025 and an IFA Innovation Award 2025, this new power bank includes a detachable lanyard-style USB-C cable so you should never need to look around for a spare cable to charge your phone or laptop.

Designed For Life On The Go

Designed with remote workers, travelers and digital nomads in mind, the EnerGeek GX11 can power or charge a laptop and connect to the internet, which you can topped up with extra data as and when it’s needed.

The MiFi function doesn’t use a physical SIM, so it can’t be used with third-party internet service providers. However, Baseus offers a range of data packages covering a whole range of countries and to start things off, you get 12GB of data spread over 12 months, which can then be topped up for global roaming with extra data.

High-Speed Internet Worldwide

Thanks to uCloudlink’s built-in CloudSIM technology, the EnerGeek GX11 4G MiFi Power Bank can instantly connect to local data networks without the need for a physical SIM card or any complicated configuration. The EnerGeek GX11 supports 13 global frequency bands, including FDD-LTE, TD-LTE and WCDMA in more than 150 countries.

The Wi-Fi function of the EnerGeek GX11 can handle up to 10 wireless client devices at the same time with upload speeds of 50Mbps and download speeds up to 150Mbps. The device is compatible with major carriers like AT&T, T-Mobile and Verizon.

Additional data packages can be purchased for the EnerGeek GX11 using the Baseus MiFi App, which has both local and global tariffs with options to purchase data by the GB or duration, whether that be day, month or year. If you’re pitching up in another country for a couple of days business or sightseeing, you can buy as much or as little internet access as you think you need.

Fast Charging And Trusted Security

The EnerGeek GX11 4G MiFi Power Bank provides high-speed charging with two USB-C and one USB-A fast-charging ports that support both PD and QC protocols, making it compatible with many laptops, tablets, smartphones and other devices.

The power bank can charge up to three devices simultaneously and has a maximum power output of 67W. That means it can recharge power-intensive equipment like laptops and smartphones. When it’s used in standalone Wi-Fi mode, the EnerGeek GX11 can operate for up to 114 hours before it needs to be recharged.

Finally, a large heat-dissipation structure in the device helps to ensure stable performance, while multi-layer security algorithms and a web portal protection system safeguard the user’s data when it’s being used for charging and browsing the internet.

Pricing and Availability:

The Baseus EnerGeek GX11 4G MiFi Power Bank is available now in North America and is priced at $129.99 from Amazon US.
