German audio brand beyerdynamic (the lower-case b is a deliberate branding device) has unveiled a new pair of headphones and two new earbuds at IFA 2025, which is happening in Berlin this week. The brand-new models are the Aventho 200, Amiron 200 and the Amiron Zero and all three are aimed at style-conscious consumers.

The new Aventho 200 is a versatile pair of wireless, over-the-ear headphones with 45mm dynamic drivers. Using ANC technology, users can seamlessly switch between blocking out unwanted sounds and transparency mode, which lets the wearer hear what’s going on around them.

The Aventho 200’s microphone uses Qualcomm’s cVc technology to ensure high-quality audio on phone calls and video meetings, even in noisy environments such as crowded trains or busy airports. Background noise is consistently filtered out so the speaker’s voice can be heard more clearly.

Versatile Companion

To live up to its claim of being a versatile everyday companion, the Aventho 200 is made with high-quality materials, including aluminum. The headband is made from memory foam and has an integrated fontanelle recess to make it more comfortable to wear. The ear pads can be replaced and reordered, extending the life of the headphones. When folded flat, the Aventho 200 can easily slip into carry-on luggage.

The Aventho 200 are also the first wireless headphones from beyerdynamic to have a replaceable battery to extend the product’s lifespan. To replace the battery, the user just needs to remove the ear pads, open the battery compartment and take out the battery. The battery can play for up to 63 hours with ANC turned off.

For even greater flexibility between private and professional use, the Aventho 200 can be paired with both a laptop and a smartphone simultaneously using Bluetooth’s Multipoint feature. There is also support for Google Fast Pair.

For Sports Enthusiasts

The beyerdynamic Amiron 200 was also launched today and are true wireless earphones specially developed for runners and active sports enthusiasts. With a feather-light and ergonomic ear hook design, the earphones can sit securely on the wearer’s ears even during lengthy training sessions.

The open design of these earphones enables the user to listen to their music while still being aware of their surroundings. This helps ensure greater safety, especially when running in urban environments.

The Amiron 200 have a dynamic sound that beyerdynamic says has an exceptionally rich bass. To skip to the next song or answer a call, users can use the touch controls. A tap on one of the earphones is enough to resume listening without interruption. The Amiron 200 has two microphones for clear voice pickup and call quality, consistently filtering out distracting ambient noises using ENC.

Protection From The Weather

Intense workouts and outdoor use are possible with the Amiron 200 because they have an IP54 rating for protection against dust and splashes, making them tough enough for city runs or trail runs in any weather. A full charge of the battery lasts up to 36 hours. And if the users need a quick boost, the fast-charging function serves up enough power for a 90-minute run through the park with a five-minute charge.

The launch is rounded off by the first open true wireless clip-on earbuds from beyerdynamic. The Amiron Zero provides high-quality sound as well as comfort. With its C-shaped design, the earphones gently wrap around the ear and distribute the low weight of just six grams per earbud to avoid straining the ear canal.

The open sound concept of the Amiron Zero enables the natural perception of a person’s surroundings while still managing to deliver precise highs and bass with minimal sound loss. The earphones can be individually configured using the beyerdynamic smartphone.

The Amiron Zero are designed to be resistant to dust and splashes thanks to the IP54 rating. The charging case features a tough metal hinge and its reserve battery can extend the playtime to 20 hours, more than enough for a marathon.

“With the launch of our three latest models, we are demonstrating that beyerdynamic has every use case in mind,” says Borja Tena, director of products and design at beyerdynamic. “Whether it’s frequent travelers, ambitious athletes, or style-conscious first movers—we offer the right model for every audience in the proven high quality they expect from beyerdynamic.”
