Apple is about to hold its first big event of the year, the WorldWide Developers Conference, affectionately referred to as Dub-Dub. The date was already know but Apple has now sent out press invites to the keynote. Here are the full details.

WWDC25: What’s The Schedule?

The conference runs from Monday, June 9 to Friday, June 13. It will start, as usual, with a keynote at 10 a.m. Pacific on the Monday. The invites which have just been sent out confirm the time and that it will take place at Apple Park, Apple’s headquarters in Cupertino.

There’s no mention of the Steve Jobs Theater, so I would expect the event to be held, as it has been for the last three years, outside the main building in Apple Park, with sun pouring down on the attendees (this is California).

Who Will They Be?

If it’s like recent years, that means members of the press and content creators, plus special guests and “more than 1,000 developers and students to celebrate in person,” as Apple puts it. Since the entire WWDC happens online, most attendees will be virtual.

How To Watch

Only the keynote is broadcast to the public. For the rest of the week’s activities you need to be a developer who’s registered for WWDC. Want to watch the keynote? It’ll be on apple.com, the Apple TV app and Apple’s YouTube channel.

What Does The Invite Tell Us?

Sometimes Apple gives a clue with words, always with the design. The invite had no words apart from the obvious: “Please join us in person for
a special event at Apple Park.”

The image is a circle (that’s Apple Park!) in a design that looked like it was made of translucent glass. That ties in with reports that the software Apple will announce is predicted to have more of the translucent feel of Apple Vision Pro menus. The lettering is colorful, like a rainbow.

Similarly, Apple’s Newsroom post features the rainbow lettering, topped by a glassy semi-circle with hints of the colors onboard. Again, Apple may be previewing what’s rumored to be a big design change coming.
