JBL Launches All-New Boombox 4 And PartyBox 720 Speakers With Extra Bass

The new PartyBox 720 from JBL is the brand’s biggest party speaker able to run off battery power and capable of 800W of output.
JBL
Yesterday, speaker giant JBL announced the new JBL Grip. Today it’s time for something much bigger with the launch of two big new party speakers. According to JBL, its new Boombox 4 has been built to “shake rooms, fuel gatherings and unite people through powerful sound.” The Boombox 4 is pure JBL, right down to the foot-thumping bass and the innovative tech.
The Boombox 4 features JBL’s AI Sound Boost, an intelligent audio enhancement that lets the drivers push harder and hit louder, while still managing to hold on to clarity. The result? The company says the result is JBL Pro Sound with refined and clean highs, booming lows, plus room-filling energy across the volume range.
Louder And Lighter
Weighing in at a kilogram less than its predecessor, the Boombox 4 is now easier to carry, pack and take anywhere. However, despite its lighter frame, the Boombox 4 delivers 50% more power output when used on battery.
The Boombox 4 from JBL may be lighter than its predecessor, but it’s 50% more powerful.

With a new white and orange logo that glows when the Bass Boost function is turned on, users can see and hear the bass in action. There’s a choice between Deep Bass or Punchy Bass modes. The Boombox 4 is finished in a choice of Black, Blue or Squad colorways.
The robust new design of the Boombox 4 features a sturdier foot and there’s an IP68 water dustproof rating, so it’s ready for the pool, the park, the beach or anywhere else the party is happening. Thanks to Auracast, the Boombox 4 can instantly link with other compatible JBL speakers to create an even bigger sound.
“The market is moving towards more bass-heavy portable speakers – and JBL wrote the master class on bass,” claims Carsten Olesen, president of consumer audio at Harman. “Striking a balance between powerful bass and high-quality audio is a difficult art to master, but with the introduction of proprietary technologies like Bass Boost and AI Sound Boost, JBL Boombox 4 does exactly that. It’s everything fans love about JBL.”

JBL PartyBox 72
The second of today’s JBL launches is the PartyBox 720, a party speaker with 800W of JBL Pro Sound and AI Sound Boost to create a high-quality sound with deep bass. Along with fist-pumping volume, the PartyBox 720 is the largest JBL party speaker that can run off battery power.
Featuring a next-generation dynamic lightshow, the new speaker has wide and sturdy wheels, as well as an ergonomic handle for trundling around so tunes can be played on the move.
The PartyBox 720’s 800W of power is delivered through two 9-inch woofers. AI Sound Boost takes the volume to the next level by optimizing performance in real-time, no matter how loud the volume is pumped up. The PartyBox 720 can connect with any other Auracast-enabled speaker to create a stereo soundstage or a wall of sound.
The JBL PartyBox 720 can run off two replaceable batteries that can provide up to 15 hours of continuous music.

With a sound that’s big enough to fill a basketball court, the PartyBox 720 also has a multi-sensory lightshow which can switch from starry to strobe depending on the effect required. The light show will also sync to the music being played. Full sound and light customization are possible using the JBL PartyBox App.
If you are planning on an extended party, the playtime of the PartyBox 720 can be extended using dual replaceable batteries that provide up to 15 hours of playtime, plus a couple more hours using the 10-minute Fast Charging function.
