JBL Takes The Covers Off Its Latest And Most Powerful Party Speakers

The new JBL PartyBox 520 speaker wants to be invited to your next party.
The world is divided into two types of people: those who love parties and those who would rather walk over a heap of broken glass with bare feet than be forced to endure a long night of forced jollity and embarrassing dancing. Throw in some karaoke and introverts like me are in Dante’s sixth circle of Hell.
With that said, there are plenty of people who love nothing better than dancing the night away with non-stop beats while they pull shapes. For those sorts of people, the news that audio giant JBL has developed a new PartyBox 520 speaker will be music to their ears.
Shipping In Time For Summer
The JBL PartyBox 520 was unveiled today by the audio monster and it’s probably the brand’s most ambitious party speaker to date. Pre-orders can be placed ready for when the speaker starts shipping on June 22, in time for all those summer barbecue parties.
Ready to roll: The new JBL PartyBox 520 is the brand’s biggest and louder party speaker to date.
As the newest member of JBL’s party speaker line-up, the PartyBox 520 promises “festival-worthy audio,” and it has some innovative technology to fuel those unforgettable poolside parties.
The JBL PartyBox 520 is being billed as one of the loudest and clearest party speakers on the market. Thanks to brand-new proprietary technology called AI Sound Boost, the speaker produces clear audio quality at very high-volume levels. The music signal is monitored in real time to reduce the possibility of distortion.

Auracast-Enabled For Bigger Sound
The new speaker has also been Auracast-enabled, just like JBL’s new Flip 7 and Charge 6 portable Bluetooth speakers, enabling them to be synced together in seconds to create a massive surround-sound effect.
The JBL PartyBox 520 also includes ergonomic handles and wider wheels to make it portable and easier to take on RV or boat trips. Other key features include the latest Bluetooth 5.4 with support for the new LE audio standard. The speaker has IPX4 certification to keep it working even if someone dives into that pool at the peak of the party.
With AI Sound Boost to keep distortion levels low at high volumes, the JBL PartyBox 520 can output up to 400W and syncs with a symmetrical and themed light show that keeps time with the music. For connecting to other audio sources, JBL has added USB-C ports and XLR connectors.
PartyBox Encore Essential 2
Also being announced is the new JBL PartyBox Encore Essential 2, the newest member of the JBL party speaker line-up. Including breakthrough technology and a big sound in a mini-size, this compact party speaker is aimed at forthcoming holidays like Memorial Day or for strolling the neighborhood to the next block party. JBL says the new speaker will be the ultimate plus one for every gathering this summer:
The PartyBox Encore Essential 2 is the newest member of JBL’s party speaker line-up.
Features included with the PartyBox Encore Essential 2 include AI Sound Boost that uses an algorithm to analyze music signals in real time to optimize and push the speaker to its maximum capability. Like many other spoeakers coming on the market, this model also has Auracast Connectivity for connecting multiple speakers together like the new JBL Flip 7 and Charge 6.
Thanks to it’s small size, the PartyBox Encore Essential 2 has a fresh redesign with ergonomic handles. Using Bluetooth 5.4 with LE Audio, the speaker offers the latest high-quality wireless streaming.
An In-Speaker Lightshow offers all kinds of lighting effects like starry glows, strobe effect and an ability to sync to the beat of the music.
