Lawrence Vigouroux and Josh Tymon sign new Swansea City contracts

“He shows up every day and is a player we know we can rely on. We are very pleased he will be part of our squad as we continue to move forward as a group.”

Vigouroux has made 56 appearances since joining Swansea, where he has played in the Championship for the first time in his career and proved he is capable of operating at second-tier level.

The former Liverpool youngster’s form saw him land a first senior Chile cap last month.

Having initially had to battle for game-time under Duff, Tymon has nailed down a place in the Swansea side after joining from Stoke City for about £2m just over two years ago.

He has flourished in Wales, reaching 100 appearances for Swansea in their midweek win at Blackburn and establishing himself as one of the better attacking full-backs in the Championship.

Tymon and Vigouroux will be back in action when Swansea host Leicester City on Saturday (15:00 BST).
