Loewe’s new Leo headphones are being launched by the brand’s global ambassador footballer Kylian Mbappé

Luxury German audio-visual brand Loewe has announced the launch of Leo, its first pair of over-the-ear headphones. The new headphones combine the latest technology with high-end sound quality. To celebrate the arrival of Leo, Loewe turned to two icons in the form of footballer Kylian Mbappé and world-renowned DJ and producer David Guetta.
A New Era Of Sound
Loewe’s Leo headphones represent the company’s entry into a new product category, bringing its innovation from the brand’s existing range of televisions, radios and speakers. The Leo headphones features a top-quality DAC, powerful amplifiers, 50mm drivers and support for aptX Adaptive high-resolution Bluetooth audio codec, all in a fold-flat design.
The drivers used in the new headphones feature a diaphragm made from Olefin Composite Elastomer, a lightweight and durable material designed for high-quality sound. With its fast response and natural damping, Loewe says OCE can deliver clear vocals, detailed highs and a smooth bass.

To cut out unwated sounds, there is adaptive noise cancellation, plus a transparency mode for listening without removing the headphone. There is also support for Hi-Res Audio, Spatial Audio, Dolby Atmos and Bluetooth LE Audio. With support for the LC3+ audio codec, Leo can handle digital files as high as 96kHz /24-bit. This enables listeners to hear high-resolution wireless playback with a sound similar to a pair of wired headphones.
Loewe’s exclusive Mimi Sound Personalization — accessible through the Loewe app — tailors playback to each listener’s unique hearing profile. Intuitive rotary dials and touch controls offer complete control over playback of the music.
Smart features include voice assistant support, real-time AI translation and Multipoint connectivity so the headphones can pair with two sources simultaneously. With up to 65 hours of battery life, Loewe claims its Leo headphones can play uninterrupted for days.
Most of the components used in the Leo are repairable, replaceable and upgradeable, which should ensure many years of top-level performance.

“With Loewe Leo, we’ve created more than just headphones,” says Aslan Khabliev, CEO and owner of Loewe Technology. “David and Kylian embody the spirit of Travel Beyond Sound: moving through the world while being transported by the immersive, precise sound of Loewe. Their stories show how music and performance merge into a single, powerful journey.”
For collectors, Loewe has partnered with luxury jeweler Jacob & Co. to create the Leo – bespoke edition. Limited to just 10 pairs worldwide, each handcrafted set is decorated with around 12 carats of genuine gemstones and is priced in the six-figure range.
