Humble Bundle is one of the best ways for people to build their media collections. They recently ran a blockbuster tabletop bundle full of some of the best tabletop role playing games on the market. What better way to follow that up with another huge bundle highlighting award winning corebooks, supplements and adventures?

The award in question is the Ennie, which is given out by tabletop gaming staEN World every year at Gen Con. The nomination process is a mix of industry selection and popular vote. You can check out this year’s winners here.

The Humble Bundle currently running collects a variety of winners and nominees in multiple categories. The books here are a great way to sample other games beyond Dungeons and Dragons. I’ve collected a few thoughts on my favorites below but thee are all good additions to any library.

Pathfinder Second Edition Remastered

The Player Core rulebook included here is the first step into the world of Pathfinder Second Edition Remastered. This most recent edition provides players with several classes and ancestries built to allow for maximum control of character customization. Pathfinder is a great choice for groups that want well-balanced rules that inspire and encourage fantasy action.

Delta Green

This collection contains three books that support Delta Green. This Cthulhu Mythos investigation game casts players as part of a conspiracy within the United States government charged with protecting the world from the forces of the Mythos. This double life takes its toll on agents who often have a grim prognosis once they learn about the truth of the universe.

Fall of Delta Green takes place during the 1960s when the conspiracy was still at the height of its power. Thanks to a combination of idealism and hubris, the organization overextends itself and this book casts players as agents during this turbulent time. The book has everything needed to play in this era of Cold War paranoia and sanity-shredding secrecy.

One of the fun parts of playing Delta Green is never knowing who to trust. The Labyrinth offers eight such elements for a campaign such as rogue agents, innocent bystanders and sinister conspiracies. Each plot point comes in three stages which grow and change depending on the player’s actions.

There are some great case file collections for the game but Impossible Landscapes stands out as a huge campaign frame. It starts back in the classic era of the 1990s and takes players all the way through to the end of the world. Did the players have a hand in the end and can they stop themselves from causing it?

Pasion de la Passiones

Powered By The Apocalypse games allow for unbeatable genre emulation. This game lets fans of telenovelas take on the outrageous characters and melodramatic plot twists to tell memorable stories. But they also have the dual roles of the family at home watching the story which can affect the path of game play.

Blade Runner The Roleplaying Game

Blade Runner is one of the foundational media of the cyberpunk genre and it’s long overdue for a role playing game of its own. Rather than the gadgets and gunfights of games like Cyberpunk or Shadowrun, Blade Runner focuses on the distinct elements that made it so influential. Players must solve mysteries while navigating the tricky questions of humanity that their replicant counterparts bring to the table.

Mutants and Masterminds Third Edition

Although publisher Green Ronin recently announced a new edition is on the way, the Third Edition available in this collection shows why it’s one of the best superhero tabletop games on the market. The rules are versatile but still approachable featuring classic hero archetypes and a robust custom character creation suite. This is a game written by superhero fans for superhero fans and the love is evident on every page.

The One Ring Second Edition

Anyone that’s picked up a d20 is likely to have dreamed of setting foot in Middle-Earth. The One Ring drops players in the time between The Hobbit and Fellowship of the Ring for their adventures. The journey in this game is just as important as the destination.

This Humble Bundle is currently slated to end on August 20th, 2025. A portion of the proceeds from the Bundle benefit Extra Life.
