Bad breath also known as halitosis, can be very embarassing and if not properly cared for could lead to a gum disease.
The causes of bad breath includes:
Poor dental hygiene
Tobacco smokers are also prone to bad breath. Chain smokers could also have gum disease which is another form of bad breath.
After eating meals, the food particles that might remain in the teeth and gum could cause bacteria in the mouth and such bacteria would result to a foul odour from the mouth.
Saliva helps to clean the mouth which removes food particles too. Therefore, a dry mouth would definitely result to bad breath. Hence drink enough water.
POOR DENTAL HYGIENE
Individuals who do not take proper care of their tooth by brushing and flossing at least two times a day are most likely going to have bad breath because the sticky-film and colourless bacteria in the mouth would continue to build, thereby resulting to bad breath.

I think keeping quiet all the time too contribute to bad breath..
Taking a cup of water early in the morning can reduce bad breath
Avoiding sugary substances because they contribute to it
Too much silence can also cause bad breath.

regular intake of fruits reduce bad breath. and there is one thing i noticed. those the sleep with their mouths opens usually dont wake up with bad breath.
It has been recommended for one to brush at least twice a day. Once in the morning after meal and in the night before going to bed. Most people especially Nigerians are fond of not brushing the teeth before going to bed and this also leads to bad breath.
I think the major cause of bad breath are
1.always being silent; I. E don't like talking
2.taking to much of alcohol
3.not cleaning the nose when it dirty; some times when the dirty in the nose accumulates, it can lead to bad breath

I can't eat on daily basis without washing my mouth which I do twice in a row

We wake up with bad breath most times because the mouth has been closed for so long, it is best to rinse mouth of all food particles before going to bed, it reduces the possibility of morning breath or pamanent mouth ordour. also be careful of what you eat, if u eat something that smells bad do wash your mouth or just rinse well
