Four Habits That Cause Kidney Damage

These are habits you should stop to leave you kidney healthy

Excessive intake of raw salt

Salt contains sodium that is very dangerous to health when release into the bloodstream. When it is taken in excess, the ability of the kidneys to flush out water is reduced which in turn causes high blood pressure because of the presence of sodium in the artery that is linked to the kidneys..

Excessive intake of alcohol

Excessive intake of alcohol weakens the kidney and makes the kidneys unable to filter blood, this result to the presence of blood in urine. When this happens it signify the presence of kidney disease. Low amount of alcohol intake is advised.

Over use of painkillers

Excessive use of painkillers reduces the kidneys ability to function properly and affect its ability to in drug metabolism.

Excessive consumption of red meat

Consuming too much read meat causes acidosis to the kidney. When this happens the kidney would be able excrete acid. In as much as eating protein is advised, it is also ideal to combine it with vegetables or fruits for a healthy life.
To avoid the trauma of kidney disease, dialysis and kidney transplant, pay more attention to your kidney and what affects it.
