Have you ever thought of how to make chicken shawarma from the comfort of your own home
To start with,
°2 Chicken breasts [without bones]
°2 Chicken Thighs[like chicken laps also without the bones]
°Small sized Cabbage[shredded into thin slices]
°Medium sized Carrots[shredded or sliced thin strips]
°Medium sized Onions[cut into thin strips]
°A large Cucumber[sliced into thin strips ]
°Tomatoes[sliced into thin strips]
°1/2Tablespoon Vegetable oil [for stir frying]
°Shawarma bread[ pita bread or flour tortilla wraps]
°1 tablespoon of thyme
°2 tablespoon of curry powder
°1 large chicken stock cube
° Some salt to taste
°1/2 tablespoon black pepper
°1 tablespoon of garlic powder or 2 tablespoons of minced garlic
°Chilli pepper to taste
1.Wash and slice the vegetables into thin slices and set aside.
2. Cut the chicken or into thin strips and set aside. 3.Place the shredded chicken strips into a deep bowl or plate, add the marinade and mix thoroughly until well incorporated. Then cover and store in the fridge for 2 -4 hours[the longer the meat marinades, the better the tastes of the chicken]
4. Heat up the frying pan,add a tablespoonful of oil. Add the marinated chicken & stir fry until brown and juicy. Scoop into a plate and set aside.
5.Scoop some mayonnaise and ketchup in a plate and mix together
6.Place a shawarma bread on a clean flat surface and spread the mayonnaise and ketchup already been mixed on the Shawarma bread and then fill it with the already cut vegetables on one end and add some chili pepper
7.Fold the bread, tuck-in the edges, and roll to form a shawarma wrap
8. And your home-made chicken Shawarma is ready,enjoy with a chilled drink especially yoghurt....hmmmm so yummy

Wow this is really a nice a affordable way to make chicken shawama, I have been hearing the word shawama, but don't really know how it tastes, but I think with this am good to go in making my own shawama, thanks a lot.
Make chicken: In a large bowl, whisk together oil, lemon juice, garlic, and seasonings. Add chicken and toss to coat. Preheat oven to 425° and grease a large baking sheet with cooking spray. Meanwhile, make yogurt sauce: In a small bowl, whisk together yogurt, lemon juice, oil, and garlic.
1.cut the chicken in to thin strips,place in a bowl,mix in the marinade properly with the chicken.
2.in a pan, heat two table spoons of oil,add the marinated chicken and stir fry until golden brown
3.Get your flat bread and place on foil paper on a clean,flat surface
4.mix ketchup and mayonnaise together spread on the bread
5.lay over the vegetable over the bread
6.Spread extra mayonnaise and ketchup on top and sprinkle on a little dry pepper.
7.Roll the wrap gently
8.Once rolled,wrap with the foil paper.
I'm so in love with shawarma I don't think I can do without it for like two days I actually can't the taste is so great . But none the less I'm going to try to make an home made one with how you explained above

I always thought it was an arduous task to prepare a shawarma. I didn't know it was this easy.
Most of us would not need to spend 1200 or more to get shawarma outside again after reading this post.
Infact I'm gonna try it today.
