  • Yes. It is very true that most Nigerian youths are lazy. The youths keep using "there is no job in Nigeria" as a means to engage in crime. If there is no job you should create one for yourself. No matter how many jobs the government creates, not every youth will still put his or her mind to go work,be looking for quick money

  • The problem I have with these politicians is that they do lose their mind whenever they are being interviewed outside the country and come back to their senses when they returned to the country. The President said the Nigeria youth are lazy, where are the jobs to do and a commission being controlled by our President claimed that the unemployment rate  is at an alarming rate

    - Oduola Toheeb - 2019-08-15 22:51:24 Quote

  • That statement is indeed very bad coming from Mr President. However, we youth have to take it as a challenge for better us, sincerely our youth are not lazy with multiple job, source of income...

  • Just as the saying always goes, to whom much is given much is expected, the government has a very big role to play in terms of job creation,  but that aside there are no resources that are available even when you decide to do things on your own, the government has failed to even make provision for basic social amenities. We lack them all, imagine running a business where electricity is required on a regular basis, the price of fuel is high and that alone will consume so much funds. This and much more that are expected to be provided freely by goverment are neglected, Nigeria has now turn to a country where everyone depends on generators for power supply and yet at the end of every month, bills will surely come to be paid.
