  • Menstral or period blood is not the same as the normal blood. Menstral blood is the unwanted bad blood the body of a woman is rejecting and sending out of her body.  Menstral blood is contaminated with bacteria and should be allowed to completely flow out. When a lady is menstrating, she shisho avoid sleeping ie having s*x with her boyfriend or man friend.              Normal blood is good for the body.

  • I believe that menstrual blood is quite different from normal blood because it's not just blood but blood mixed with some egg that  didn't fertilize for the month. So that mixture is the only thing that makes it to be different but it's still blood. Ordinary blood has no impurities while menstrual blood has.

  • Menstrual blood is clearly different from normal blood, first, menstrual blood is thicker than normal blood and the colour of the blood also differs. Also menstrual blood is a result of unfertilized eggs from the ovum

  • From the little research I did sometime back I arrived at a conclusion that menstrual blood is different from normal blood, mainly because of its physical properties and composition also the substance that makes up the menstrual blood are in lower concentration than in ordinary blood blood flowing through your veins. In menstrual blood you will find less iron, less haemoglobin and more water including the concentration of cholesterol and proteins are in lower quantity than ordinary blood.

  • Yea, Menstrual blood is indeed different from normal blood. If it is not all the girls out there should have died of bleeding and haemorrhage. Hence, The components of the two types of blood, their place of formation, their life span ( normal blood 120 day lifespan, Menstrual blood monthly; About 25 to 30 days lifespan). There is a great difference ladies and gentlemen.

  • Menstrual blood is different from you normal blood flow. Its the egg in the ovary which was unferterlized that comes out in the form of mentration and also mentration has a smell that normal blood does not have.

  • Uhm.let me say this this topic is quite one for discussion... A lot have been said so I will look at it from a spirit dimension...

Have you ever wondered why if ladies will ever be use for oracles they need to be below monopost??...have u checked history.during the days where spirits live amongst men? If you have you would have come across this phrase. The juice of life..

Let me say this menstral blood is more than just blood ..it carries in it the potential of a thousand life..while just blood carries in it the potential of just life.. This is why ..menstral blood is the sustainer of spirit beings if they will live on earth for a cycle before the next cycle of the period... And off curse the spirit is higher than the physical.. So menstral blood is more than just blood and is not just blood..

  • Ovulation is the monthly release of eggs from the ovary to the Fallopian tube waiting to be fertilized. The unfertilized eggs therefore break and are flushed out as menstruation which is like flushing out first from the body.

So it's definitely different from the normal blood.

  • I honestly don't know, but I think it's different,  yes the normal blood flows round our body and goes back to the heart, but the menstrual blood is actually an egg, (not the usual chicken egg) that can be fertilized by a sperm, sperm mixed with ordinary blood cant form fetus

  • Menstral blood can never be the same with normal blood, because menstral blood is a bad blood in a woman that needs to go out for a healthy living while normal blood helps the human brain to function effectively

  • Menstruation blood Contains dirt, dead cells in the womb, I like to call it flushing blood, it sweeps the vagina and environs of dead eggs that were not fertilized. While normal blood is the one carry oxygenated blood to all part of the body

  • Menstrual blood is just the egg being flushed out by the system when it breaks and that is why it doesn't have any effect on the health conditions of the females. If it were to normal blood in circulation, it would have severe health implication on the ladies.

  • They are not the same menstral blood is jst the process pf releasing the blood of the unferterlized egg.if this process does not take place ,there will be no room for another egg waiting to be ferterlized

  • The menstrual blood is an entirely different thing from the normal blood, the menstrual blood is as a result of the egg that was broken down since there was no sperm to fertilize it to form an embryo, that is why it's not advisable to take cold things during the menstrual period because some of the blood might be left in the body and accumulation of the blood form fibroid......but the normal blood no matter the circumstances it can't form fibroid.

  • They are different entirely. Mentral blood is as a result of the unfertilized egg being flushed out of he body. While normal blood is the blood transported through the veins and arteries in the body.

  • Menstrual blood is different from normal blood. Menstrual blood is an unferterlized egg that gets dispatched and leaves your body. Menstrual blood isn't as light as normal blood it's quite thicker and sometimes comes out solidified and thick. The smell alone signifies that it's quite different to normal blood because it smells a bit foul.

  • They are very different.

Normal blood: water, red and white blood cells, platelets, ions and dissolved gases

Menstrual blood: water, red and white blood cells, platelets, ions, dissolved gases, dead cells lining uterine vessels, dead cells from uterine wall. People will include the egg but it's not the main purpose of menstruation. It would have already been washed out at the very start of the process. Menstruation is just a manifestation of the hormonal changes that go on in a woman.

  • My dear the answer is definitely NO!, o yes!  Normal blood and that of menstrual can never be the same.

If it's not so my dear people would have been buying and at the same time selling Menstrual bloods in the hospitals!

    Think about it.

  • My dear i will say No! Because menstrual blood is quite different, menstrual blood are gotten from broken ovary. And they does not run in the vein. And menstrual blood smell bad than normal blood, and the Sametime thicker tham normal blood, menstrual blood contains dirt and dead

  • Menstrual blood is not the same as normal blood, menstrual blood contains decayed eggs of a woman, eggs that when they are not decayed they fuse with sperm to form a baby but when they are not in contact with any sperm they decay and comes out as blood, that is why they have a certain foul smell.

Therefore menstrual blood is not the same as normal blood.

  • Yes, it is REALLY blood! During the second half of your cycle, the lining of your uterus (endometrium) begins to thicken in preparation for a fertilized egg. By then end of the cycle, if this does not happen, the hormones progesterone and estrogen begin to fall and that thickened endometrium begins to slough off. What you see in your menstrual flow are the cells from the uterine lining and blood from special arteries in the uterus

  • Menstruation is not the type of general type of blood it is a blood caused by unfertilized eggs and when a lady is on her period, you Can't possibly say shes loosing blood...It is different from Real blood due to it's composition and it's physical properties as taught in Biology
