Is The Federal Government Right With It's Decision To Close Neighboring Borders?
The Federal Government announced the closure of neighboring borders accross the country, with the aim to curb snuggling of contraband goods and ammunitions into the country especially from the northern part of the country. That of Benin-Nigeria (Lagos) is aimed at stopping the smuggling of rice and other food stuff tagged contraband.
On the side of the citizens, most of them average Nigerian people lament the suffering and hardship this action has brought on them such as the hike in food price (especially Rice) others lament the action has crippled their business, even students are unable to return back to their various schools .
