  • they should be sent forth for Correctional service instead of a death sentence.

This will not really curb such cases but there will be a change in the strategies because crime will always exist no matter what.

I pray that Abubakar should not be kidnaped for saying that.

  • I believe enacting such a law will not reduce the rate of kidnapping in the country. There are already existing laws meant for such criminal act. The solution to this inherent problem is for the Nigeria government to improve the  quality and efficiency of our security forces mostly especially the police force

  • Death sentence in my opinion is too harsh. They can be kept in prisons for many years and there after be rehabilitated back into the society after the expiration of their jail term.

  • To be sincere, this is highly a strong precautive measures to stop all these corruptions. When they make 3 and above as scape goats. I believe kidnappers, assassins, and those thieves at the top won't like to die. They will definitely put an end to it.

  • Government should be sole provider of uniforms to security personnel, because many people have access to this materials and camouflage as real security men to carry out their evil acts.

Death penalty will only make this people more deadly to their victims.

  • I believe this law can can stop the rate of kidnapping and corruption IN the country, cause people of nowadays are afraid of death, and when they catch some of the kidnappers and sentenced them to death, the rest will be scared because they know that is what is going to happen to them, so they will stop

  • Yes! It'll stop to the bearest minimum these corrupt practices and kidnapping. I have experience alot in this country from communication industry, education, finance, medicine, transport, religion to governance how bad this country l mean citizens of this country are, in fact, l begin to wonder if there can be any positive change or this country can ever get better. Nothing in our system could be made to support any positive change. So maybe if death would reduce these evil so be it, let the few good ones enjoy this wonderful land that's possessed by vast evil majority.

  • It may or may not. But instead of using death sentence why not other corrective measures. I mean there are many other ways to correct them instead of getting rid of them. I know for sure that if they were good jobs for them they won't get themselves involved.
