Dear Hypocrite,

Your double standard life is detrimental to progress of religion in our society. Religion which is known to be a unifying factor for majority here on earth, is suffering due to your unbelievable actions.

You do remember, you are a leader in your Church or Mosque, yet you've failed to quit Lies, alcohol drinking, womanizing, betting, fraud and many more vices you engage in daily.

You should always know, we your fellow hypocrite won't separate you from the religion went we start our judgement, we do say;  "you won't believe he's a deacon in his church" OR "he leads prayer at the mosque down the street".

Why do you allow yourself bring shame to the Religion you practice, why not stay away and enjoy the judgement of your fellow human alone without tarnishing GOD'S image.

I write to you in Peace as you plan to be either Hot or Cold, No Lukewarmness.

Selah!

Is it possible for humans to stay off all vices while they practice religion?

  • We are humans. We sin and ask God for forgiveness. But as a religious leader either in a church or mosque, you need to lay a good example by acting modest and abstaining from the bad things you preach to your members. You teach and act according to the way of God.

It is not a good practice so to say as such those practicing it should have a change in their thought and begin to do what is right.

  • Yeah its very possible for humans to stay off all forms of social vices as they practice religion. It takes a high level of maturity and discipline to do that. I agree that sometimes due to one selfish reason or the other, humans get can get dirty and do the unthinkable just to make ends meet.

  • Everyone has a choice on how to pattern his life but at the same time it's our duty to live rightly and cautiously.  Because apart from the discuss on Heaven or Hell,  our negative actions destroy nature. So let's live rightly.

  • Although it's not an easy task, I have problems trying to fight the sinful nature but as we all know the Bible says "be ye perfect as your heavenly father is perfect" and knowing also that for us to accomplish we must strive to reach the goal as Paul said "I press towards the mark..."  so then we also must press and strive towards perfection. Yes it is possible to live a life without sin because once we are born again our fleshh becomes dead to sin and the only way whereby sin can have a way is if we let it. May the Lord give us the strength to be like him, Amen.

  • The major problem I've noticed is that people do not know the difference between tradition, social life, culture and religion. Religion is a culture, a way of life itself in every aspect. People should not do things that are not in accordance to the religion all in the name of - it's my culture and saying God is ever-forgiving and He will understand.

  • We all believe we are not perfect but some believe some sins are from our imperfections so their fellowship with their maker shouldn't reduce but there some little punishment for hypocrity and to avoid those punishment we need to know what we are serving

  • Of course you can stop all those vices and continue with your religion at least from the bible we know those things aren't good so why can't we stop doing them. We should just focus on our religion and worship God as we know.

  • Some people think there can't change who there are and what there do, but don't know that changing from bad to good is not just by their own power

You see a person today want to change and tomorrow he/she is desame, because of that same friends there follow, go to those same places, not ignoring them or making a challeng

Why others try to change because of someone and later will not be able to portrait the fake character and it result will show

  • We are all humans.. And we sin.. What matters is going back to him... We can't be claiming we are serving God and always sinning every. Doing all such of vices ...if you do all this... You are not qualified to be called a child of God

  • Firstly we need to know that nobody is perfect the things we should put in our mind is that when  we sin even as our religious leader we need to reconcile with our maker and decided not to go back to. So the only time we can call them hypocrites is when they don't ask for forgiveness, we need not to be digging into there past and focus on making heaven.

    - Olaniyan Titilope - 2019-11-22 14:35:14 Quote

  • First we need to realize that nobody is perfect and that we all make mistakes, most people view people in high authority(pastor) as a perfect being but the truth is that they are just mere human beings who still learn and make mistakes, so because of most people's thoughts when a pastor makes a mistake they classify him as a hypocrite which shouldn't be so, everybody makes mistake or commit sin at some point in their life.

  • This topic religion has caused a lot of damage in the sense that the cleric men have twisted the word to favor their own interest. They barely practice what they preach. One thing is we all are far from perfection even our creator knows this but whatever we do in life we should always do and practice more of good attitude. We should gather and do good to be better person.

    - ugwueke uchechukwu - 2019-11-27 12:54:55 Quote

  • In as much our religious leaders are living a double life instead of leading us by examples that doesn't mean we as believers of any religion should go astray that's why I love God the Bible make us to understand that all men will account for himself so their lifestyle shouldn't make you or break you in your faith.

    - Agbo Joy - 2019-11-28 08:23:01 Quote

  • You see in as much as we are a humans we will always falter. But the frequency or rather the attitude we take towards such mistakes would determine if we are 'hypocrites' or not. A one time sin doesn't make anyone an hypocrite but unlike when one repeatedly commits a sin or even worse condemn someone for something similar they have done. But it is always meant to happen as it is not everyone who practices a religion that would commit theirselves whole heartedly to it. So our aims should be not to condemn hypocrites both to look within ourselves if we personally are not hypocrititic in nature.

    - Gabriel Sobowale - 2019-11-28 18:34:53 Quote

  • Well firstly from what I've seen religious people are one of the most close minded and biased people I've seen they are ready to give their money to a church that came out of nowhere in the belief that God will answer their prayers... These same persons will rather walk pass the little child on the street begging for help because they don't feel he's important but they seem to forget that there is no good deed that's too small...

Really it's heartbreaking the world we live in

    - Michael Okocha - 2019-11-28 23:30:59 Quote

  • It is in the nature of man to sin and it will always be in our nature. The fact that the so called men of God are doing what they are telling others not to do is Because they are not filled with the holy spirit and some even see going into religious practice as business practice too. Therefore, it is almost impossible for these men to stop their acts because it is in their nature.

    - Abrake Martin - 2019-11-29 13:04:31 Quote

  • We humans are not perfect and as such, we'll always sin all the time. Religion just serves as a daily guide and assistance.. We all fail to realize that God himself isnt concerned about our perfections.. He just closely watches our imperfections, and as such wants to help us live and act right as Humans.
