So everyone I know wants to be healthy but they are not willing to take the chances to live a healthy life. You are what you eat and what you do. Here are a few do's and do nots on how to live a healthier and a longer life:
*Drink water every time. I take 8 bottles of water and more everyday.
*Develop a good personal hygiene. Be clean always. Your surroundings too.
*Avoid excessive intake of catfish, red meat, carbonated soft drinks, canned food, can drinks, imported fruits, hydrogenated oil, microwave food.
*Rather embrace cooked eggs, fish, fresh poultry meats, fresh vegetables
*Avoid excessive sugar intake, honey is better.
*Avoid alcohol, smoking.
*Avoid public toilet.
*Engage in fruit fasting
*Avoid multiple sex partners
*Rather engage in s8xual activities with your spouse only.
*Have a good sleeping habit (8 hours daily)
*Always check your blood pressure and your blood sugar level.
*Exercise 30 minutes daily. Do not sit for two hours without getting up to move around.
*Avoid malice, unforgiving attitude, grudges or anger. Be happy with yourself and love yourself.
Treat yourself Better because untimely death or chronic health issues will affect your family and loved ones negatively. Think about the ones you love and lead a healthy life

I would say the basic ways of living longer is by maintaining a healthy life style- good hygiene, right diet, regular exercise workout. But the most important of all is happiness. When we are not happy or remain sad constantly we shorten our life span so be happy and live longer.

I think you should have been specific when you mentioned smoking as a habit that shortens the human lifespan. We all know tobacco is the only enemy that harbors smoking. Tobacco should be banned in our societies.
There are some people that eat, exercise, sleep for 8 hours but not having a healthy life. A healthy life starts with you having peace of mind and always minding one's business. One can have a consistent routine of what are written up there but won't show on one's body. First be cool woth everyone around it i mean be at peace everyone day by day

You have said it all. In summary, to live a healthy life you must eat good foods that is balanced diet, exercise and rest. But due to ignorance some people don't make out time for exercise, which is very bad. To crown it all you must have open minded and be happy always because happiness heals the body.

In addition to what i read ,we have to eat dinner at the right time so as to digest before going to bed and make us healthier because most people do eat in the late hour and the food won’t digest before going to bed so that contributes to the problem most people are facing now.
