Premier League updates: Man United-Fulham, Everton-Brighton

Welcome to ESPN’s coverage of Sunday’s Premier League action! Two early matches start things off, as Everton host Brighton & Hove Albion and Crystal Palace take on Nottingham Forest, before the day culminates with Fulham hosting Manchester United.
All four teams playing in the day’s earlier games should have ambitions of finishing in the top half of the table, if not setting their sights on European competition. Everton, playing the first Premier League fixture at their brand-new Hill Dickinson Stadium, are coming off a disappointing 1-0 defeat to Leeds United, while Brighton drew 1-1 with Fulham last weekend after conceding in the 96th minute.
Meanwhile, FA Cup holders Palace were steadfast in holding Chelsea to a 0-0 draw, and Forest beat Brentford 3-1 on the back of striker Chris Wood’s brace. The game has added spice because Forest took Palace’s place in the Europa League after the London club were demoted for breaking multi-club ownership rules.
The big match of the day sees Man United travel to Craven Cottage. After coming up short against Arsenal in a 1-0 loss, United will look to get in the win column. Look for head coach Ruben Amorim’s new-look attacking trio of Bryan Mbeumo, Matheus Cunha and Benjamin Sesko to make their presence felt.
