Samsung released its updated One UI with both the Galaxy S25 Ultra and Galaxy Z Fold 7 this year. While One UI 7 hasn’t yet made its way to all recent Galaxy flagships, Samsung has announced the One UI 8 beta schedule for more Galaxy phones. It might skip One UI 7 on some devices and directly roll out One UI 8, which is said to enhance productivity and efficiency “while offering personalized, proactive suggestions tailored to each user,” says the company.
Samsung is expanding its One UI 8 beta program to more Galaxy devices starting next week, and your phone might be on the list. After debuting with the Galaxy S25 series in May, the One UI 8 beta is now coming to the Galaxy S24 series, Galaxy Z Fold 6, and Z Flip 6 for users in Korea, the U.S., the U.K., and India.
One UI 8 beta will roll out to even more devices in September and bring multimodal capabilities that understand context in real-time and offer more natural interactions. For instance, if you’ve got the new Galaxy Buds 3 or Buds 3 Pro, you can trigger Google’s Gemini by voice or by long-pressing the earbuds. You can use the Google Assistant to answer daily life questions or even do some on-the-go research.

Surprisingly, Samsung isn’t limiting the public betas to its flagship lineup but is also releasing it to Galaxy A-series phones.
