After launching new voucher codes that knocked 20% off phones, tablets, and home appliances, Samsung has now officially launched its early Black Friday sale for the Galaxy S25 Ultra.
Last week’s “UNLOCK” code, which slashed prices on Samsung devices by 20%, has now been rebranded as an early Black Friday deal in the U.K. The code is applied at checkout and saw the prices of the Galaxy S25 Ultra, Galaxy Ring, and Galaxy Book5 Pro drop by a fifth.
That deal has been extended with a new promise of a guaranteed £200 ($261.33) trade-in when buying the Galaxy S25 Ultra—for any smartphone or tablet, in any condition. This is a fairly common deal Samsung runs, and I’ve been told previously that the Korean company will truly accept any device in any condition.
Check behind your sofa for an old device, or head to eBay and pick up an older Huawei, OnePlus, or other cheaper brand—for under £30 ($39.20)—to trigger the discount. While Samsung says it’ll take a phone in any condition, I’d recommend sending in something that works and isn’t completely beaten up.
With the trade-in offer and the 20% off code, the Galaxy S25 Ultra drops to £799 ($1044.00). This is one of its cheapest prices and a huge discount for Samsung’s flagship phone, even if it is a couple of months away from being replaced.

Samsung U.S. has launched its own massive deal for the Galaxy S25 Ultra that knocks up to $940 off the flagship. That includes up to $700 in trade-in and a double storage deal worth $240. That $700 trade-in figure isn’t worth your time because it is reserved for newer phones, such as the Galaxy S24 Ultra.
What piqued my interest more was the promise of a guaranteed $450 if you don’t have a handset to trade in. That is as much as Samsung will pay for the Galaxy S23 Ultra or the iPhone 16. Combined with the double storage deal, this discounts the Galaxy S25 Ultra down to $849.99: a $570 total price drop.
The U.K. and U.S. deals dropping below $850 / £800 signals the start of serious Galaxy S25 Ultra discounts. Normally, I’d say it’s worth waiting to see what Samsung, Amazon, and others have in store for the actual Black Friday shopping day, but these are some of the cheapest prices I’ve seen for Samsung’s flagship phone yet. So if you have to buy the phone now, these are solid discounts.
