Samsung’s Latest Special Offer For Galaxy Phone Buyers

Samsung’s Latest Special Offer For Galaxy Phone Buyers

Following Amazon’s huge Galaxy Z Fold 7 price cut—which knocked hundreds of dollars off the foldable phone—Samsung has launched a fresh wave of discounts for the Galaxy S25 Ultra, Galaxy S25 Edge, and Galaxy Z Flip 7.

The Korean company has introduced a new discount code offering 15% off the Galaxy S25 Ultra and Galaxy S25 Edge. U.K. customers can enter the code “S15” at checkout to redeem the offer, which takes £187.35 off ($251.55) the Ultra and £164.85 off ($221.34) the Edge.

This promotion also includes Samsung’s usual freebies, such as six months of Google AI Pro and 30% off all Galaxy accessories. However, there are no hardware bonuses this time, unlike the recent deals that bundled a free laptop, Galaxy Watch 7, or Galaxy Earbuds with certain purchases.

A 15% discount on Samsung’s top-end devices is a solid offer, especially since Amazon isn’t currently running a promotion for the Galaxy S25 Ultra, or Galaxy S25 Edge. That said, I’m told that Samsung will roll out even deeper price cuts next week. If either phone is on your radar, it may be wise to wait.

U.S. Samsung Galaxy Phone Buyers Score Bigger Discounts

American Samsung shoppers might have the better deal this time across multiple models. The Galaxy Z Flip 7 now comes with a guaranteed $200 discount without a trade-in, plus an additional $120 off the 512GB model. Combined, they bring the price down to $899 from $1,219.99—a good offer for a phone that only launched in July.

The Galaxy S25 Ultra, too, comes with a guaranteed $250 off if no device is traded-in and up to $240 off if the 512GB or 1TB storage options are bought. Samsung’s trade-in prices for the Galaxy S25 Ultra are decent, too. Here’s a selection of valuations for realistic phones to trade in.

  • Galaxy S22 Ultra – $480
  • Galaxy Z Fold 4 – $480
  • Galaxy S21 Ultra – $400

Interestingly, the Note 20 Ultra’s trade-in value has finally fallen to $180 after selling for $600 earlier this year. The phone lost its software support in August, which caused its trade-in value to plummet. The same thing happened with the Galaxy S20 in April. The 2020 phone was worth hundreds before losing regular software updates, but Samsung will only pay $155 for it today. The lesson here is to sell or trade-in your phone before it loses software support.

Should You Wait Before Buying a Samsung Galaxy Phone?

Aside from Amazon’s Galaxy Z Fold 7 deal, yes—you should wait. The Galaxy S25 series will be replaced with the Galaxy S26 in January, which means the price is only going down from here.

We’re also about six weeks away from the start of Black Friday sales. Samsung is a major Black Friday player and will likely compete with Best Buy, Target, Walmart, Amazon, and others by offering aggressive discounts, free devices, coupons, and complementary subscriptions. If you can hold off a little longer, you probably should. Make sure to hit the follow button below so you don’t miss the latest tech news and deal updates.
