The WiiM Sound is the first smart speaker from WiiM and is packed with features including Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity.
WiiM
At the Munich High-End show in May 2025, global technology brand WiiM announced the launch of its first-ever line of wireless smart speakers leveraging the brand’s WiiM Home app and operating system.
Building on WiiM’s reputation for performance and value, the WiiM Sound speaker delivers hi-fi sound quality, smart connectivity and whole-home control and it’s all powered by the intuitive WiiM Home App.
Touch-screen Display
The WiiM Sound combines powerful sound with intuitive control, and a modern design, all in a compact form. Featuring a 4″ long-throw woofer and dual tweeters that deliver 100 W of Hi-Res 24-bit/192 kHz audio. Its 1.8″ touch display provides instant access to playback, EQ, and inputs, while the included WiiM Voice Remote 2 Lite enables one-press control and push-to-talk voice commands.

The compact new speaker is designed to blend into almost any room and can be placed on a shelf, counter or be wall-mounted. The speaker’s 100W output produces a deep bass with clear mids and highs.
Smartphone Control
The WiiM Sound can be controlled from iOS or Android devices using the free WiiM app. Users can switch playlists, adjust volume or move the music to another room, all with their smartphone. Thanks to the WiiM ecosystem, users can have multiple WiiM Sound speakers throughout the home for a multi-room vibe, with music playing in every space and all controlled through the WiiM Home App or by asking Google or Alexa.
The WiiM Home App offers whole-home control and integration with any WiiM speaker, streamer or amplifier on the same network. There is also support for Chromecast, Spotify Connect, Qobuz Connect, TIDAL Connect, DLNA, and Alexa Cast for even more music-streaming options.

Wi-Fi, Bluetooth And Ethernet
The new WiiM Sound supports Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3, plus it has 100Mbps Ethernet for fast and reliable streaming. The speaker’s sound can be customized with 24 preset EQ profiles and there’s also a 10-band graphic and parametric EQ for making more precise tone adjustments.
The speaker can take precise acoustic measurements of any room and then produces a customized correction setting to ensure the best possible sound. Two WiiM Sounds can be paired together to work as a stereo pair with a wider soundstage.
Other innovations on offer include home theater integration, enabling the WiiM Sound to be used as a surround or center channel speaker in a Dolby 5.1 setup for an immersive home cinema experience.
