Completed New York Times Mini crossword for Monday, July 14.
It took me 0:30 to complete today’s NYT Mini.
I’m quite happy with that time, especially given how much I struggled with the Across clues. I did get INSTA (I cover technology for a living, so it would have been embarrassing if I didn’t). That refers to Instagram, for which you need an account to use Threads, Meta’s Twitter-like app.
TOWEL and HMMPH both seemed very nebulous to me. I didn’t get CRAMP (thankfully), but it was on the tip of my tongue. PEA was no problem. Luckily, I was able to zip through the Down words with no problem at all. I’ve no idea how I remembered TEMPE, but I’ll take it!
