It took me 0:30 to complete today’s NYT Mini. A good time today!
I have to admit, I needed to look at my keyboard to figure out what TAB was. Not sure where I knew HOMER from, but it refers to a home team fan. APPLE was pretty straightforward – the clue refers to the “i” in iPhone, iPad, iMac, iOS and so on. I don’t drive, so YIELD was outside my realm of knowledge, and I really should have figured out CDS.
I didn’t have any real trouble with the Down clues, though I had absolutely zero idea what Nantucket Reds were. I’ve never heard of that. Thankfully, I only had to fill in the “D” there and was able to figure it out by looking at the “YIEL” part of the Across answer.
