President Donald Trump announced on Thursday that 20-year-old Sarah Beckstrom, one of the two soldiers shot after a gunman opened fire on National Guard members just blocks from the White House, has died. It comes as new details are emerging about the alleged shooter identified as Rahamanullah Lakanwal who will now be charged with murder in the first degree. NBC’s Melanie Zanona reports for TODAY.
