Brock Lesnar is back on the WWE scene and he is as big, fierce, and intimidating as ever.

Ever since his shocking return at SummerSlam last month, it was pretty clear The Beast would be back to take on John Cena at WrestlePalooza, the premium live event designed to usher in the ESPN era and to stomp a mudhole in AEW’s All-Out pay-per-view on the same night.

As expected, with another vicious attack on Cena—which interrupted a stellar match for G.O.A.T against Sami Zayn—Lesnar vs. Cena was confirmed.

The entire card is coming together nicely. Here’s a look at what we know about the important show, including the card and viewing information.

What to Make of Cena-Lesnar

Cena has been putting on some amazing matches during his farewell tour, and I expect to see something similar against Lesnar—to a degree.

I love Lesnar’s basic but savagely entertaining wrestling style. A great match with him doesn’t look the same as it would against a different performer.

That said, both men have Herculean strength, and I’d expect to see something that we won’t soon forget. Cena’s commitment to giving back to the fans in his final appearances is admirable.

Other Matches Likely to be Added to WWE WrestlePalooza

Dominik Mysterio Intercontinental Title Defense

Mysterio has become one of the company’s biggest stars. I consider Dom the most improved wrestler from start to current form in the WWE.

He is one of the best workers, excellent on the mic, and no one owns their character better. Some expect to see him in a Triple Threat of some kind, perhaps involving Penta and Rusev.

Perhaps Penta wins and gets his singles title run while Dom finds himself elevated into something bigger over the next year. Rusev has said his main goal in this run with WWE is to help young talent. Unless it is a swerve, I doubt we’ll see him go over in this one.

AJ Styles Vs. El Grande Americano

This match could steal the show. From a pure wrestling standpoint, Styles and Gable can work with the best of them. As Styles’ career winds down, it is great to see him in feuds with guys who can give him memorable work. Gable is willing and able.
